Name origin: The Barracuda was named as we designed the tail shape from an actual Barracuda fish.
 
Description: The Barracuda is designed to keep your wave count up and froth levels high. This is a great board to have in your quiver if you're looking for a bit more volume on the lazier days as it catches waves so easily and is also extremely fast. This board is also great if you're looking to drop down surfboard size as it holds a lot of volume for the size of it, you can get the shortboard feel with enough float to keep you catching waves.
 
Catching wave: With a wide outline shape and a lot of thickness throughout, this board floats you well and glides into waves. It's full nose and added volume underneath the chest makes getting into the smaller waves effortless and allows for an earlier take-off when the waves get bigger.
 
Manoeuvrability: Fishes are all about width and that doesn't change with this one. The wide tail is what we all know and love about fishes giving it that loose skatey feel. We wanted to keep that traditional style but with a slight tweak. We have rolled the tail edge so it gives that little bit of extra hold, meaning you can push that little bit more and gain more drive without the tail slipping out.

All of our epoxy surfboards are made here in the UK, at our surf shop in Newquay TR8 4PU, and are made using the top materials, locally sourced wherever possible. Here at surfboards UK, every Surf board we make is ECOBOARD Project verified. This means that we are verified to produce a board with the same technical attributes as any modern surfboards, whilst having reduced environmental and toxic impacts.
